- Polymer clay
- Cutter
- Jump rings
- Jewelry pliers
- Clasp
- Chain
- Oven
- Pencil
- Pin
It’s so easy. Follow the steps below:
You might want to lay out wax paper so the clay won’t stick on your surface first. Anyway, roll out your polymer clay into a long log and divide into four. Roll out each one and flatten.
Pinch the sides like pictured above, and then pinch both sides together. Pinch two of those, and then assemble them like so… whew, that’s a lot of pinching. Be careful not to ruin the folds!
Bake your clay according to the directions on the package. Let it cool, varnish (if you want) and attach your jump rings and chain on it. Necklace done!
It’s a summery/spring-y bit of jewelry but I feel like this will add a pop of cuteness to every outfit no matter what the season.
How to Make Double Bow Necklace - Handmade
Materials Minimalist Tube Earrings
- two flat head (I guess that’s what they’re called) pins – I’m using two gold plated ones
- four tube beads (you can use more or less, depending on the length of your beads)
- two gemstone beads (I’m using two pyrite cubes that look lovely against the silver metal)
- two ear hooks. obviously.
Step 1:
Take a pin and start arranging your tubes and gemstones in whatever order you’d like. I’m doing a tube-gemstone-tube thingy. No matter what design you choose, make sure to leave enough space at the end to form a loop.
Step 2:
Using your round nose pliers, grab the loose wire, bend it at 90 degrees and then slowly start rolling that wire back and forming a loop
Step 3
Before closing this loop, add your ear hook
Step 4:
Close the loop and repeat the steps for the other earring. DONE!
